Job summary

Colne Primet Academy in Colne is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with diverse needs, including SEND, across KS2/KS4. You will work closely with teachers to reinforce learning strategies and ensure inclusion in every lesson.

Qualifications

• Understand the needs of children with SEND
• Experience of working with SEND children in education
• Experience of using IEPs, ILPs and EHCPs
• Experience of working with children in KS2 / KS3 / KS4 and relevant qualifications
• Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities of Teaching Assistants
• Ability to assist pupils with basic numeracy and literacy in line with strategies and curriculum
• Experience of basic administrative tasks
• First aider training or willingness to complete
• Experience as a cover supervisor or similar role
• Experience of exams invigilation
