Job summary

Envision Education in Watford is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school from September, full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30–4:00. The role focuses on supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, contributing to inclusive learning, and promoting positive behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, be patient and empathetic, hold an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one), and live near Watford or be able to commute.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND students (min 3 months)
• Patient and empathetic, with a passion for supporting child development
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one
• Live around Watford or able to commute
• UK resident or eligible to work in the UK

• Keep high standards of Safeguarding, health and safety

The ideal candidate

• Has previous SEND experience (min 3 months desirable)
• Is patient, empathetic and has a passion for supporting child development
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Live around Watford or happy to commute

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
