The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to tailor assistance, foster learning engagement and help pupils progress with confidence and independence.

Qualificações

• Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable, particularly within a primary or specialist setting.

SEN Teaching Assistant - SEND Primary School in Gorton

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND primary school in Gorton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them develop essential skills, confidence and independence.

The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include autism, communication difficulties, learning disabilities and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support, helping children engage with learning and make progress in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a positive and flexible approach, strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children. Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable, particularly within a primary or specialist setting. A patient, nurturing attitude and a genuine commitment to helping every child thrive are essential.
