Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for an inclusive primary school in Prestwich, M25. The role supports pupils with additional needs and contributes to a positive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification and at least six months' experience in the UK, with a genuine passion for inclusion, patience and strong communication. Training and ongoing CPD are available through Tradewind's dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Have a relevant Teaching Assistant, SEN, Education, Childcare or similar qualification.
• Have at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarily.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for inclusion and the ability to support pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum.
• Helping children access literacy and numeracy activities.
• Supporting communication and social development.
• Encouraging independence and confidence in learners.
• Reinforcing positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Working alongside the class teacher and SEN team to implement individual support strategies.

SEND Teaching Assistant - Prestwich

M25Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a caring, patient and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Prestwich, M25. The school is seeking someone who can support pupils with additional needs while also contributing positively to the wider classroom environment.
