Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a SEND Specialist Tutor to plan and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons that meet each pupil's needs, abilities and learning styles. You will work closely with Prospero Teaching throughout the placement, submitting weekly progress reports and supporting pupil progress.

Flexible hours are available, with part-time or full-time options. Location spread across South Shields, home or community learning hubs, and a rate up to £30 per hour (negotiable). Immediate start possible.

Qualifications

• Children related/education qualification.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition for students with SEND.
• Develop personalised lesson plans addressing learning gaps.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and families.
• Create a supportive, motivating learning environment.
• Complete daily attendance and weekly reports.
