  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes positive and safe behaviour.
  • Manage small groups of children with complex social communication needs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by teaching other subject areas as required.
What We Are Looking For
  • Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification (QTS,). We warmly welcome applications from primary-trained teachers keen to transition to KS3 and KS4.
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills, alongside strong core literacy and numeracy.
  • Collaboration: The ability to work closely with parents, carers, teachers, and a wider trans-disciplinary team.
  • Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working with SEND pupils-particularly those on the Autistic Spectrum-and managing challenging behaviour is highly desirable, though not essential.
  • Attributes: A confident, enthusiastic professional with a genuine passion for learning and the ability to build strong relationships with young people.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
