Job summary

The role covers both education and home-life routines, focusing on independence, emotional regulation, and confidence building.

Immediate start is available for a full-time position. You will work with teaching staff to adapt lessons, support routines, and help young people develop essential daily

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or SEMH in education or residential care
• Understanding of behaviour management and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Confidence in building positive relationships across learning and care environments

Responsibilities

• Support young people throughout school day and residential routines, ensuring consistency and stability across environments
• Work alongside teaching staff to support adapted lessons, breaking down tasks and reinforcing learning in an accessible way
• Support daily living tasks such as morning/evening routines, mealtimes, and independence skills within the residential setting
• Use calm, consistent behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation and positive outcomes
