Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd seeks a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils in a SEND-focused setting. The role centres on delivering structured lessons, differentiating tasks, and using visual aids and modelling to promote understanding and engagement for all age groups.

You will work with teachers to reinforce concepts, foster calm, consistent learning, and help learners develop independence and confidence across the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or delivering structured learning activities for children or young people in schools, tutoring, care, clubs, or other educational settings.
• Understanding of special educational needs and how to adapt support to help pupils access learning effectively.
• Confidence using varied teaching and learning approaches, including explaining tasks clearly and modelling steps.
• Training or qualifications such as Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, Youth Work, or equivalent experience.

A welcoming SEND school in Sleaford providing tailored support for children and young people across all age groups. The school focuses on helping learners develop their academic skills, independence, and confidence through adapted teaching, structured routines, and supportive, engaging learning environments. This is a full-time role starting in September.

• Support the delivery of differentiated and accessible lessons by working alongside teaching staff to break down tasks and scaffold learning.
