Job summary

halow in Guildford is seeking a Year Leader to design and deliver community-based learning sessions for adults with SEND, helping learners build confidence, social skills and employability.

You will lead groups of 6–12, ensure safeguarding, and work with colleagues and partners across Surrey. Training is fully paid, with ongoing development opportunities. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends. Start date in November.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and group facilitation skills.
• Experience delivering person-centred activities.
• Understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver person-centred learning sessions for groups of 6–12 learners.
• Lead engaging community-based sessions to build confidence and employability.
• Ensure high safeguarding and wellbeing standards and review learner progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to support learners.
