Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Northampton to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term position with the potential to be extended. Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting.
• Understanding of the primary curriculum and classroom routines.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND within the classroom and in small group interventions.
• Work with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored support.
• Promote independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
