Are you seeking a SEND role in a Sheffield school? Protocol Education is looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs for roles within Sheffield schools.

The ideal candidate will be approachable, patient, and possess good communication skills. Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds with various personal needs is essential. Understanding that each child's requirements are unique is crucial; a common approach is not suitable. De-escalation skills and team teach training are desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include 1:1 interventions, record keeping, assisting with communication, and ensuring all children can engage in the classroom environment.
