TeacherActive Ltd in Merseyside is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join a supportive SEND provision. The post is full-time and on-site, with a daily rate of £120 to £170, depending on experience.

The role involves teaching primary-aged pupils with Autism/ASD, LD, and ADD, adapting lessons to individual needs and promoting social and emotional development within the primary curriculum.

Formación

• QTS certification held with relevant SEND experience.
• Experience teaching primary-aged children with additional needs.
• Ability to adapt learning to individual needs and use therapeutic approaches.

Responsabilidades

Summary

Job Title: Primary SEND Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND provision based in Merseyside. The school provides a varied and engaging curriculum tailored to the individual needs of its pupils, with a culture centred around patience, inclusivness and supporting children to develop their social, emotional and personal abilities whilst promoting independence.

The school is looking to take on a permanent Primary SEND Teacher on a full-time basis, working directly with Primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful Primary SEND Teacher will support pupils with needs including Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD and Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD, adapting lessons and teaching strategies to ensure pupils can engage with the Primary Curriculum and make meaningful progress.

Qualifications and Experience

• QTS


• Experience teaching Primary-aged children with additional needs


• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD


• A strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum and the ability to adapt learning to individual needs


• Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices


• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
