Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience working in special school settings with ASC/SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and differentiated delivery.
• Solid understanding of ASC and SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to pupils with diverse social, emotional, and sensory needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development to meet educational, physical, and social needs.
• Create a calm, non-confrontational learning environment and support wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop and monitor personalised lesson plans and track progress against targets.
• Manage challenging behaviours per school policies.
• Support EHCP reviews and formal reporting processes.
