Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting Learning Support Assistants across Birmingham to help pupils who need extra help to engage with lessons. You'll provide practical and emotional support throughout the school day, working closely with teaching staff to boost participation and confidence.

Candidates with experience with children, SEND needs, and a patient, consistent approach are preferred. Roles cover day-to-day and longer-term placements in Birmingham specialist education settings, with safeguarding

• A patient, encouraging and consistent approach
• Confidence providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Strong communication skills

Aspire People are recruiting Learning Support Assistants across Birmingham to work within specialist education settings, supporting pupils who require additional help to engage with their learning.

As an LSA, you'll provide practical and emotional support throughout the school day, working closely with teaching staff to help pupils participate in lessons and develop their confidence and independence.

We're looking for candidates with:

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
• A patient, encouraging and consistent approach
• Confidence providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Strong communication skills

Experience with autism, SEMH, ADHD or complex learning needs would be particularly beneficial.
