Job summary

A dedicated educational institution in Birmingham is seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to support secondary-aged students with complex learning needs. Qualifications

Learning Support Assistant – Secondary

Job Role:
  • Supporting students with complex needs across Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Providing 1‑2‑1 and small group assistance to promote engagement and progress
  • Helping students develop communication, confidence and learning skills
  • Assisting the teacher with planning and adapting activities
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
