Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is recruiting a SEND Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a Middlesbrough primary school. You will work across the primary age range, delivering 1:1 support, small group interventions and classroom assistance to learners with complex needs.

The role starts ASAP and offers dedicated consultant support, CPD opportunities and competitive daily pay. You will be paid via PAYE with tax and NI applied accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex SEND.
• Experience providing 1:1 support and small group interventions.
• Understanding of how complex needs impact learning.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary classrooms.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver lessons.
