Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated SEND LSA in Bradford to support pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4. The role involves day-to-day classroom assistance, managing individual needs and promoting positive engagement in learning environments.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEND, strong behaviour management, and a patient, adaptable approach. Immediate start available with contract-based opportunities.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £95 - 110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND provision in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND LSA. The provision supports young people with additional needs and is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The provision is looking to take on a SEND LSA for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful SEND LSA will support pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, assisting with learning, managing individual needs and helping pupils engage positively within the classroom.

The successful SEND LSA will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
• The ability to provide effective 1:1 and small group support
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
