Job summary

Inspire Education Group (IEG) is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner in Stamford. Join a SEND-focused team to help students build independence and confidence through targeted individual and small-group sessions.

The role offers term-time, part-time hours (23.5 per week) with a permanent contract and pro rata salary, plus professional development opportunities and a supportive, safeguarding-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires experience supporting individuals with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Level 2 English and maths
• Level 2 qualification in SEND, Level 3 Learning Support and Level 3 Preparing to Teach or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering individual and small-group support sessions.
• Helping students develop strategies to manage their learning needs and build independence.
• Setting and reviewing targets to monitor progress and achievement.
• Supporting students with assistive technology and appropriate learning resources.
• Working with teaching staff to recommend adjustments and effective support strategies.
• Contributing to support plans, risk assessments and EHCP provision where appropriate.
• Signposting students to relevant college and external support services.
