Job summary

St Gregory’s is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide flexible support across classes, small groups, and 1:1 sessions for students with SEND. The role welcomes applicants with diverse experience and offers the chance to tailor hours up to 30.42 per week, with a minimum of three days including Mondays and Fridays.

Start ASAP in a permanent contract during term time plus INSET days. Salary is Grade 3 SCP 5-6 with actual pay based on hours; a generous pension scheme and supportive team

Qualifications

• Flexibility to contribute to in-class support, small group work and one-to-one support of students with SEND.
• Willingness to work up to 30.42 hours per week across Monday to Friday.
• Experience not required, applications from experienced professionals are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support for pupils, including those with SEND.
• Support small group and 1:1 instruction to help students achieve their best.
• Engage and encourage students to participate and learn.
