Job summary

Inspire Education Group (IEG) in Stamford is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner on a permanent, term-time-only basis. The role is 23.5 hours per week with a salary of £25,771 FTE (pro rata where applicable) and a 38-week academic year.

You will support students with SEND outside the classroom, tailoring approaches to individual needs and working closely with teaching and support staff. The successful candidate will be committed to safeguarding, inclusion and helping students reach their

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Level 2 English and maths completed.
• Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering individual and small-group support sessions.
• Helping students develop strategies to manage learning needs and build independence.
• Setting and reviewing targets to monitor progress and achievement.
• Supporting students with assistive technology and appropriate learning resources.
• Working with teaching staff to recommend adjustments and effective support strategies.
• Contributing to support plans, risk assessments and EHCP provision where appropriate.
• Signposting students to relevant college and external support services.
