Inspire Education Group (IEG) is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to support students one-to-one or in small groups, helping them overcome barriers and develop independent study strategies.

You'll work with teaching staff and support teams to tailor help, set targets and monitor progress, including assistive technology and EHCP-related planning, while benefiting from term-time, part-time hours and a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Level 2 English and maths.
• Level 2 SEND, Level 3 Learning Support, Level 3 Preparing to Teach or willingness to work towards.
• Patient, compassionate and effective communicator with people from diverse backgrounds.

You'll work with students on a one-to-one or small-group basis outside the classroom, helping them overcome barriers to learning, develop independent strategies and achieve their study programme goals. Working closely with teaching staff, Learning Support Coordinators and other support teams, you'll provide tailored support that reflects each student's individual needs and aspirations. You'll be passionate about helping students overcome challenges, achieve their goals and prepare for adulthood.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering individual and small-group support sessions.
• Helping students develop strategies to manage their learning needs and build independence.
• Setting and reviewing targets to monitor progress and achievement.
• Supporting students with assistive technology and appropriate learning resources.
• Working with teaching staff to recommend adjustments and effective support strategies.
• Contributing to support plans, risk assessments and EHCP provision where appropriate.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting individuals with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Holds a Level 2 qualification in a relevant SEND area, a Level 3 Learning Support qualification and a Level 3 Preparing to Teach qualification or willing to work towards.
• Has Level 2 English and maths.
• Can adapt support to meet individual needs and promote independence.
• Is patient, compassionate and confident communicating with people from a range of backgrounds.
• Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and helping every student reach their potential.
