Job summary

Hartpury University and College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide academic and practical support for students, both in and out of the classroom. You will assist lecturers in meeting individual needs and help plan and deliver learning support within the College.

The role emphasizes promoting independent learning, confidence, and engagement, working collaboratively with staff to ensure an inclusive environment and maintaining confidential records to support welfare and achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learners with SEND to reach potential.
• Ability to support across academic and practical tasks.
• Experience with learners aged 16+ is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with academic and practical support in and out of the classroom.
• Support lecturers and tutors in meeting individual student needs.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of learning support within the College.
• Promote student independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records to support student achievement and welfare.
