Job summary

Worle Community School is seeking three Learning Support Assistants to join our SEND team. The roles involve delivering classroom support to pupils, in collaboration with teachers, and assisting with resource preparation and pupil care.

The positions are fixed-term until 31 August 2027, 31.25 hours per week during term time plus INSET days, with actual salary under PATH 4 (£18,585–£18,880). Closing date 31 August 2026. Start date 5 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*-C or Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom support for pupils, planned and supervised by teachers.
• Assist with resource preparation, display and care of pupils including health care.
• Keep records of work to provide feedback and support.
• Contribute to Student Profiles and PSPs.
