Job summary

The Priory Learning Trust is recruiting 3 Learning Support Assistants to work at Worle Community School. The role supports students with SEND, delivering classroom assistance planned by teachers and supporting with resources and care.

Candidates should have literacy and numeracy qualifications (GCSE A*-C or Level 2) and some experience with secondary-age students; knowledge of child protection procedures and SEND Code of Practice is desirable.

Qualifications

• GCSE A*-C or Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Some experience with children of secondary age, ideally in a school.
• Knowledge of Child Protection Procedures & SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom support for pupils, planned and supervised by teachers.
• Assist with resource preparation, display and care and support of pupils including health care.
• Keep records of work to provide feedback and general support.
• Contribute to Student Profiles and PSPs.
