GLC Academy: Gateway Primary Free School in Thurrock is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with additional needs. You will collaborate with class teachers and the SENDCo to deliver planned activities, track progress, and adapt tasks to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to implement learning activities from EHCPs.
• Ability to work with class teachers and the SENDCo.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group support based on EHCPs.
• Lead intervention groups and monitor progress.
• Collect data on skills and pupil attainment, maintain records.
• Assist with basic care needs and wellbeing during school day.
• Communicate pupil progress with parents and staff.
• Support learning environment setup and displays.
