The Gateway Primary Free School in Tilbury is seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with additional needs. You will collabo rate with class teachers and the SENDCo to implement planned activities and adapt them for individual pupils.

Responsibilities include 1:1/ small group support, data collection on progress, and daily communication with parents. The role supports a vibrant team committed to inclusive education.

Competenze

• Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or individual education plans.
• Ability to contribute to literacy, numeracy and ICT development.
• Proactive in professional development and collaboration.

Mansioni

• Provide 1:1 or small group support per EHCPs.
• Lead intervention groups and monitor reading and basic maths.
• Collect data on progress and maintain pupil records.
• Assist with personal care and basic first aid as needed.
• Communicate progress updates to parents.
• Set up learning spaces and create engaging displays.
