Job summary

Westminster City School in central London is seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join our inclusion team supporting pupils with SEND. You will work with the Assistant SENDCo and teachers to enhance learning, run interventions, and contribute to pupil profiles and reasonable adjustments.

You will listen to students, record progress, support enrichment and transitions, and uphold safeguarding and inclusive practice. Commitment to professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people.
• Strong communication and literacy/numeracy skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
• Willingness to learn about SEND and EHC plans.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in lessons and agreed interventions under the SENDCo.
• Implement pupil profiles and reasonable adjustments.
• Contribute to assess, plan, do, review processes.
• Listen to students, record progress and support enrichment, trips and transitions.
