Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Bradford to support students with SEND, fostering independence, confidence, and achievement in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will adapt activities, encourage engagement, and work with teachers to implement personalised learning plans, contributing to inclusion and positive outcomes for learners during term-time sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals is desirable.
• Understanding of SEND and inclusive education.
• Calm, resilient and adaptable.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND, including autism and other needs.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual student requirements.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Provide emotional support and pastoral guidance.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver personalised learning plans.
• Promote inclusion and equal opportunities for all learners.
