Elementa Support Services Ltd is seeking SEND Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in Bath and North East Somerset across multiple schools.
You will provide one-to-one or small group support, help learners access activities, and assist with EHCPs within a caring educational environment. This is a temporary/short-term opportunity with flexible hours.

Pay: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in schools across Bath and North East Somerset. This is a general recruitment advert for candidates who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.
This role is ideal for experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, or individuals with transferable experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults who are looking to build a rewarding career within education.
Responsibilities: As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning and participate fully in school life. Responsibilities may include providing one-to‑one or small group support, assisting pupils with additional learning, communication, social, emotional or physical needs, implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), supporting positive behaviour, and working closely with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills: The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a patient and adaptable approach, and a genuine commitment to promoting the wellbeing, independence and progress of every pupil. You will be confident building positive relationships with children, staff and families, while maintaining a calm, professional approach in a range of classroom settings. An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities is essential.
Previous experience working within a school is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with relevant transferable skills and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
