Minehead First School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our caring school community. You will support children with learning, development and wellbeing, working alongside a committed staff team in a two-form entry setting.

The role focuses on providing tailored assistance for pupils, especially those with additional needs, liaising with the SENDCo and professionals to ensure inclusive access to learning activities.

  • Assisting with Education, Health and Care Plans and individual support plans.
  • Encouraging independence, resilience and positive behaviour.
  • Working with teachers to monitor progress and provide feedback.
