Job summary

Locking Primary School in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a considerate Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND during term-time. You will work with small groups, support autism and other SEND needs, and apply TEACCH and other tailored learning strategies to boost confidence and engagement.

Ideal candidates will have school experience, strong communication skills, and a Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable).

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work term-time, with 32h 30m per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
