We're working closely with a large special school in the Devizes area that is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team as soon as possible on a full-time basis (unable to accept part-time staff due to the needs of the students). The school currently has a few vacancies, so you would be placed in the class that best matches your personality and experience.

The school has recently opened a new, top-of-the-range site with fantastic new equipment and facilities, along with new members of the Senior Leadership Team - exciting times ahead!

The role

The primary focus of the SEND Learning Support Assistant role is providing general classroom support and 1-1 support where needed. The most essential trait they look for is being proactive.

Given the complex needs of the students, it is essential that you have experience working in a professional setting with special needs and disabilities, whether in a school or support work setting. The school welcomes applications from a range of backgrounds.
