Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. This role offers flexible supply across multiple schools with the potential for long-term positions.

You will provide individualised student support, assist teachers in delivering lessons, foster an inclusive learning environment, and support students with SEN as required. DBS checks and references are part of pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting on a 1:1 basis.
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not necessary.
  • All applicants subject to pre-employment checks including DBS and references.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students, ensuring engagement with learning.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with SEN where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students, ensuring they can engage effectively with learning
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting on a 1:1 basis
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not necessary
  • A passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
