Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire on a supply basis with the potential of long-term positions. This role offers flexibility to work across diverse school environments and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting on a 1:1 basis.
  • Relevant qualifications desirable but not necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to students, ensuring they can engage effectively with learning.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with SEN where required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students, ensuring they can engage effectively with learning
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting on a 1:1 basis
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not necessary
  • A passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
