Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a SEND Lead Worker to coordinate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and oversee EHCP reviews. Based in Trowbridge, you will work across Preparation for Adulthood, community review and assessment teams, ensuring timely administrative processes and strong partnership with children, families and professionals.

You must have at least a Level 4 qualification and two years' experience in early years, social care, health or education, with a readiness to develop.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 recognised qualification and at least two years of experience in early years, social care, health or education.
• Experience coordinating EHCP processes and meeting statutory deadlines.
• Ability to engage with children, young people and families, especially those with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and EHCP reviews.
• Oversee the review and monitoring process of EHCP plans across teams.
• Manage administrative tasks and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
