Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a SEND Lead Worker to coordinate Education, Health and Care Plan processes, ensuring timely reviews and statutory deadlines. You will collaborate with education, health and social care partners to support children, young people and families with SEND.

The role requires strong organisation, partnership working and experience in SEND. The post offers a hybrid working model, with office presence and community visits as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Level 4 recognised qualification or be willing to work towards it.
• Minimum of two years experience in early years, social care, health or education.
• Experience working in partnership with children, young people and families, especially those with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage EHCP processes and reviews to meet statutory deadlines.
• Identify when specialist involvement is needed and connect with the right contacts.
• Work at a locality hub or on visits for at least 50% of the week.
