Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the United Kingdom to support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring across KS1–KS5, with flexible, trauma-informed, and student-centered approaches.

We offer in-person, hybrid, and remote opportunities, competitive pay (£28-£35 per hour), CPD mentoring, safeguarding support, and a mission-driven team dedicated to transformational education for vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK
Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

Provide Maths/English/Science tuition in person, online or hybrid for SEND/SEMH pupils.
Support pupils KS1–KS5 through trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
Contribute to raising standards for SEND/SEMH learners.
