Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS completed or facilitated and 2+ professional references
• Based in the UK with the right to work
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring in Maths, English, or Science to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Plan lessons and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring as part of a holistic approach
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools within KS1–KS5 as appropriate
• Maintain safeguarding and create a safe learning environment
