Job summary

The Special Partnership Trust seeks an experienced Learning & Development professional to design, coordinate and promote high-quality learning across the trust. This role blends L&D coordination, digital design, apprenticeship administration, events and HR support to drive professional development.

You will support Trust-wide Learning Communities, manage communications, track attendance, prepare resources and collaborate with SEND Advisors to ensure a consistent development experience across all

Qualifications

• L&D or HR experience in a training, education or administrative role.
• Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and digital learning tools.
• Ability to analyse data, maintain accurate records and produce reports.
• A proactive, collaborative and customer‑focused approach.
• Commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and SEND.
• Desirable: CIPD Level 3, experience designing training, apprenticeship knowledge, LMS experience.

Responsibilities

• CPD Coordination: Support delivery of the Trust’s CPD strategy and curate role‑based learning pathways.
• Learning Design: Create blended learning resources, toolkits, guides and digital content.
• Training Delivery: Facilitate workshops, inductions and development sessions.
• Apprenticeship Administration: Manage DAS processes, monitor levy usage and support apprentices.
• Learning Communities: Coordinate Trust-wide SEND Learning Communities, meetings and communications.
• HR Support: Provide first-line HR support, recruitment administration and onboarding coordination.
• Compliance & Reporting: Monitor mandatory training, follow up compliance and produce reports.
