Job summary

The Special Partnership Trust is seeking a proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to design, coordinate and promote engaging training across the Trust. Based at Pencalenick School, St Clement, Truro, you will drive CPD, design blended resources and support apprenticeship administration to raise SEND education standards.

You will lead Learning Communities, provide HR support, and monitor compliance, enabling a consistent development experience across all schools in the Trust.

Qualifications

  • L&D or HR experience in a training, education or administrative role.
  • Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and digital learning tools.
  • Ability to analyse data, maintain accurate records and produce reports.
  • A proactive, collaborative and customer‑focused approach.
  • Desirable: CIPD Level 3, experience designing training, apprenticeship knowledge, LMS experience.

Salary - £32,203.00 Annually (Actual)

Hours Per Week - 37

Weeks Per Year - 52.14

We are now seeking a proactive, creative and highly organised Learning & Development Coordinator to help shape, deliver and elevate our Trust-wide CPD and workforce development offer.

The Role:

You will play a central role in designing, coordinating and promoting high‑quality learning experiences for colleagues across the Trust. This is a varied, impactful position combining L&D coordination, digital learning design, apprenticeship administration, event organisation and HR support.

A key part of the role is supporting our Trust‑wide Learning Communities - specialist professional networks that bring colleagues together to share expertise, strengthen SEND practice and drive collaborative improvement. You will coordinate meeting schedules, manage communications, monitor attendance, prepare agendas and resources, and work closely with SEND Advisors to ensure each Learning Community runs smoothly and achieves its purpose. Your work will help create a consistent, high‑quality professional development experience across all schools in the Trust.

You will help build a culture of continuous learning by developing engaging resources, maintaining effective systems, supporting leadership and workforce development initiatives, and ensuring colleagues have access to meaningful professional development throughout their employment.

Key Responsibilities:

CPD Coordination: Support delivery of the Trust’s CPD strategy and curate role‑based learning pathways.
