The Bedford College Group is seeking a SEND Emotional Support Facilitator at Shuttleworth College, Old Warden. You will provide targeted emotional, social and behavioural support to learners with SEND and EHCPs, while fostering a safe Haven space and inclusive student engagement.

You will plan ELSA-informed interventions, collaborate with teams and families, and maintain accurate records to support learner reviews and development.

Qualifications

• Holds A Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• ELSA qualification or willingness to achieve one.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding and post-16 education developments.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality emotional, social and behavioural support to learners with SEND and EHCPs.
• Manage the Haven environment to promote positive behaviour, independence and inclusion.
• Plan and deliver ELSA-informed interventions, mentoring and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with curriculum staff, pastoral teams, ALS colleagues, parents/carers and external agencies; maintain records and progress monitoring.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion and ongoing professional development.
