Job summary

Lancashire County Council is recruiting a SEND EHCP Officer to manage the full end-to-end EHCP process – from assessment and plan writing through to reviews, amendments and reassessments. You will co-produce high‑quality, person‑centred plans with children, families and partner agencies, ensuring they are clear, compliant and outcome‑focused.

You’ll work closely with SENCOs, education, health and care professionals to monitor provision, meet statutory timescales and support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND systems and EHCP processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with families and professionals.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet statutory deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full EHCP process from assessment to reassessment.
• Co-produce high-quality, person-centred plans with children, families and partners.
• Monitor provision, maintain records and support decision-making.
