Salt College is seeking an experienced SEND Co-ordinator to manage SEND and EHCP processes across the College. You will coordinate consultations, annual reviews and ensure statutory deadlines are met, working with learners, families, Local Authorities and external professionals.

Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Salt College is looking for an experienced and highly organised SEND Co-ordinator to manage and co-ordinate SEND and EHCP processes across the College. This is a key role supporting learners with SEND throughout their journey, from initial Local Authority consultation and transition through to enrolment, EHCP implementation, annual reviews and progression. You will work closely with learners, families, College teams, Local Authorities and external professionals to ensure appropriate support is identified, implemented and reviewed and that statutory requirements and deadlines are met.
You will need:
Experience within Further Education or specialist post-16 provision, SEND consultations and transitions, and knowledge of high-needs funding would be advantageous.
You will be organised, approachable and confident, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload.
You will be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people and able to build positive working relationships with learners, families, colleagues, Local Authorities and external professionals.
Most importantly, you will be committed to ensuring learners with SEND receive the right support and have the best possible opportunity to progress and succeed.
