Job summary

The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School in Greater London is seeking an END Administrator to join the SEND department. The role focuses on data input and maintenance for the provision map and access arrangements, and on computerising student files in SIMS.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ongoing management of departmental databases for the provision map and access arrangements.
  • Responsible for computerisation of student files on SIMS.
  • Work with the SENCo in departmental duties for managing access arrangements.
  • Ensure back up practices for safeguarding the department's databases.
  • Schedule and deliver literature for Annual Reviews and relevant EHCP documentation.
  • Maximise the use of ICT to support administration tasks.
  • Ensure SEN staff have ICT needs met, including passwords and software audits.
  • Keep records of all ICT equipment including hardware and software.

END Administrator

Grade 5 (Points 12-15), Salary £33,750 - £35,250 Pro Rata

35 hours per week (Term-time only with a 6 month probationary period)

The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School require a highly motivated and hardworking administrator for the SEND department. You will be joining a strong specialist team with a track recordof success and a passion for supporting students with SEND.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to work on their own initiative, work constructively as part of a team and be able to meet deadlines.

The main purpose of the role:

  • To maintain the ongoing management of the departmental databases which focus on inputting and maintaining data for the provision map and access arrangements
  • To be responsible for the computerisation of student files on SIMS
  • To work with the SENCo in departmental duties for managing access arrangements
  • To ensure that back up practices are in place in safeguarding the departments databases
  • To schedule and deliver literature surrounding Annual Reviews and / or relevant literature for students with an Education, Health and Care Plan
  • To maximise the use of ICT to support administration tasks
  • To ensure SEN staff have their ICT needs met, including supplying passwords, auditing TAs and teachers' software skills and implementing relevant programmes
