Job summary

Senploy is seeking an experienced SENCO to lead the SEND provision in a West London school from September. The role involves managing EHCPs, annual reviews, and statutory processes, and developing staff to deliver inclusive teaching.

You will collaborate with families, local authorities, and external professionals to drive inclusion and improve outcomes for students with additional needs. A permanent contract is offered with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• NASENCO or willingness to complete it.
• Experience as a SENCO or in a significant SEND leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Genuine commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for students with additional needs.
• Residence within or near to West London preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the school's SEND provision.
• Manage EHCPs, annual reviews, and statutory processes.
• Support and develop teachers to deliver high-quality inclusive teaching.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, local authorities, and external professionals.
• Monitor student progress and ensure effective interventions.
