Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced SENCO to join the leadership team and drive SEND provision across the school.

You will champion high-quality teaching for pupils with additional needs, ensuring compliant, needs-led support and effective collaboration with staff, parents, external agencies, and senior leaders to enable every child to thrive. You will lead annual reviews, monitor progress, and contribute to whole-school improvement through strategic development and staff training,

Qualifications

• QTS with NASENCO or willingness to complete.
• Proven SEND support experience.
• Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building.
• Experience liaising with families and external professionals.
• Ability to analyse data to improve pupil outcomes.
• Commitment to inclusive education and raising standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the school's SEND provision.
• Identify and assess pupils with SEND.
• Coordinate interventions to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Oversee and review EHCPs and SEND documentation.
• Monitor progress and evaluate interventions.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to staff.
• Liaise with parents, local authorities, and external agencies.
• Coordinate annual reviews and statutory SEND processes.
• Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and best practice.
• Promote an inclusive culture across the school.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement planning and strategic development.
