Job description

SENCO - 3-5 days - Mainstream Primary School - Barking & Dagenham

A two form entry primary school in Barking & Dagenham is searching for a 0.6 SENCO to join their welcoming team in September. There is also flexibility to make the role 0.8 or full time, with the additional day(s) being a job-share of class teaching or PPA.

This 'Good' graded school has a strong focus on holistic education, offering a well-rounded approach to primary education. The Headteacher is deeply proud of their inclusive, community focused school, catering to a multicultural community of children and parents. Staff retention rates are excellent, the SLT is solid and established and children are happy.

This position is suitable for an experienced SENCO, or an experienced teacher with a passion for SEN and desire to complete the NPQSENCO training. The current SENCO is moving into a DHT role within the school and will be able to provide handover support and training for any new SENCO that joins the school.
