Job summary

Barrington CofE VC Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic SENCO to lead and develop SEND provision, shaping a new Inclusion Hub launched in September 2026. This pivotal role sits on the school’s leadership team and focuses on strategic development with practical support for staff and pupils.

You will collaborate with leaders, families and outside agencies to drive inclusion, raise outcomes for pupils with SEND and embed the Hub's vision, systems and impact across the school.

Qualifications

• Has a passion for inclusion and improving outcomes for pupils with SEND.
• Has, or is willing to obtain, the National Award for SEN Coordination.
• Can lead strategically whilst also providing practical support to staff and pupils.
• Has excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
• Is excited by the opportunity to develop and shape a new Inclusion Hub.
