Job summary

Academics partners with an Alternative Provision School in Yardley, Birmingham seeking an experienced SENCO for KS3/KS4 pupils with EHCPS who predominantly present SEMH needs, alongside ASD and ADHD.

With a maximum of 15 students, this is a chance to lead SEND standards, support EHCPs, collaborate with teachers and external organisations, and ensure timely interventions to drive positive outcomes in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision and coordinating EHCPs.
• Ability to monitor pupil progress and implement interventions.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, external agencies and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND standards across the school.
• Support pupils with EHCPs and additional needs.
• Work closely with teachers and outside organisations.
• Monitor pupils progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
