Job summary

PK Education is recruiting a dedicated, organised and enthusiastic SENCO Assistant to join a Coventry school for an immediate start. You will work closely with the SENCO and SEND team to support the delivery of SEND provision across the school.

You will assist with EHCPs and IEPs, monitor student progress and help coordinate targeted interventions, supporting students with a range of learning, communication and social-emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND provision
• Understanding of EHCPs and inclusive education
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting vulnerable learners

Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and delivery of SEND provision across the school
• Assist with EHCPs, IEPs and student support documentation
• Monitor student progress and coordinate targeted interventions
• Support students with additional learning, communication and social-emotional needs
• Liaise with teaching staff, parents and external professionals
• Maintain SEND records and support reviews and meetings
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
